From a hobby inventor from Southwest Germany to a hidden champion

Company founder Viktor Hegedüs comes from a family of retailers from Wehingen in Baden-Württemberg. Instead of taking over his parents’ shop as planned, he preferred to complete an apprenticeship with a relay manufacturer at a young age. He was fascinated by the new technology and systems he learnt there. After completing his apprenticeship, he began working for a stainless steel nut production company and quickly realised that his many innovative ideas needed their own environment.

Viktor Hegedüs founded his company in 1980 at the age of 25. He initially produced sleeves and flat nuts for proximity switches. At the same time, he sought out niche areas and was one of the first in the region to specialise in titanium.

Medical technology quickly became aware of the young company, which was characterised by the highest precision in production technology, clever innovations and practical solutions.

Viktor Hegedüs and his team identified problems and developed the corresponding solutions.

The successful company is now managed by his son Adrian Hegedüs in the second generation. The professional surface treatment of titanium is one of Hegedüs’ main areas of expertise. This large portfolio is successfully complemented by the patented ART-tech® colour marking system and numerous services for surface treatment as well as the production of titanium jewellery in the company’s own factory.
