3D printing with the material titanium enables the manufacture of innovative products in the field of medical technology and industry. However, this form of production often leaves residues and thus contamination in the form of loose or semi-fused powder particles on the component.
These impurities are undesirable and must be reliably removed in order to achieve a high-quality product. To remove these residues, we have developed a special finishing process – “Titanium acid etching”.
With titanium pickling, we are able to completely and reliably remove unwanted contamination from your products. Furthermore, the surface structure (surface roughness) and the brightness of products can be individually optimized with this method.
